African black soap –
Have you heard of it before?
I happened to come across this and found it very interesting. Had to try it out!
✨𝕎𝕙𝕒𝕥 𝕚𝕥 𝕚𝕤✨
It’s made from the ashes of locally harvested African plants and dried peels. This gives it the characteristic dark colour.
🌴Palm tree leaves, cocoa pods shea tree barks is sun-dried and then burned to ashes.
Coconut oil, palm oil and shea butter are then added to the ashes.
It’s often made by women through family recipes, love this! 💪

🔸Safe for most skintypes.
Since the traditional recipe does not contain any added fragrance, this should fit even sensitive skin.
Always check the label!
🔸Anti-bacterial properties.
The soap has been compared to medical soaps in studies and been proven to be more effective against bacteria.
🔸It may help reduce acne and dark spots.
The ingredients have good results on oily and acne prone skin.
🔸It may reduce fine lines.
🔸It has a moisturizing and soothing effect on the skin.
I’m excited about trying this and see how my skin likes it.
